• Primary Engineer within newly formed GATR Product Line Management group. Took over responsibility for curating, maintaining, and updating GATR’s commercial catalog. Created a Master Catalog workbook to aggregate all GATR costs, prices, part configurations, and various catalogs. Continuously maintained Salesforce Price Book. Performed extensive costing, pricing, and market analysis. Reviewed/approved hundreds of quotes.• Established and revitalized several product lines and launches. Developed MSRPs, business case, and Terms & Conditions for new SATCOM as a Service market entry. Contributed to updated requirements and roadmap for design iteration of market-changing research and development project, including forming strategic partnerships.

• Systems Engineer for the USMC Next Generation Troposcatter (NGT) System Program of Record (POR). Supported NGT Program from contract award through the start of Contractor/Government Developmental Testing. In this role: led design reviews; developed BOMs and drawing tracker; coordinated design changes; reviewed all drawings and ECOs; created and maintained CDRLs; and oversaw integration testing of final hardware solution.• Supported Business Development as a Subject Matter Expert of GATR’s products. Developed dozens of BOMs and custom configurations for quotes. Attended Satellite 2019 & 2020 tradeshows as GATR's go-to Systems Engineer.• Lead Engineer for a two-week $4M proposal. Primary author for the core technical approach. Performed final edits.• Developed and launched an Excel VBA Add-in to interface with new corporate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system from Aras. Add-in allowed engineers to retrieve data from PLM more easily, automatically update spreadsheets, review the status of ECOs, catch common errors, coordinate reviews, and effectively communicate status updates to executive management. Coordinated with Cubic leadership and IT to deploy tool Cubic-wide.• Supported several efforts troubleshooting complex issues both in production and customer fielded systems. Each involved extensive data collection, documentation, analysis, root cause isolation, corrective action assessment, and engineering validation, including OCONUS travel to customer sites. Permitted delivery of $38M in revenue.• Assisted with VentiGATR project, an attempt to repurpose GATR inflation units as emergency ventilators. Helped identify initial requirements and coordinate rapid prototype testing. Initiated communication with FDA for EUA.• Supported adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a member of GATR’s Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and Product Owner of the System Architecture team. Helped establish Jira teams and Confluence spaces.

• Performed crucial role reviewing quotes and developing system BOMs supporting $50M+ in FY18Q4 deliveries. Created an indentured BOM tool in Excel to fully document system configurations. This helped with reviews, generated drawing templates and MRP files, and tracked outstanding issues. Supported 50+ quotes and orders. Relocated desk to Production "War Room” to support FY18Q4 deliveries. Helped triage various configuration, procurement, production, and quality issues. Worked quickly to identify solutions without impacting schedules.

• Supported the US Army T2C2 POR as a Systems Engineer and GATR SME. Provided extended on-site support for OCONUS IOT&E, including a follow-up trip to demonstrate prototype hardware addressing issues found in test.• Developed extensive maintainer-level troubleshooting flow diagrams and reviewed entire Technical Manual for T2C2 POR. Performed several troubleshooting iterations, each leading to root-cause of critical and elusive issues.• In-depth Systems Engineering support for $18M proposal. Required investigating cutting-edge modems and waveforms (Dynamic SCPC) and performing trade studies. Contributed to most of and performed white-glove review of entire proposal package, including 50+ pages of detailed technical attachments analyzing the solution.• Supported disaster relief efforts after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Deployed with little notice to St. John, USVI. Maintained and setup several GATR systems. Performed component troubleshooting and replacement. In Puerto Rico, setup systems in Vieques, Aibonito, and Utuado, and deployed newly integrated cellular connectivity kits.

• Provided on-site engineering support for multiple customers, taking trips to Canada, UK, Japan, and South Korea.• Assisted with RF testing and new terminal qualification for various regulatory agencies (FCC, ARSTRAT/Delta 8).• Designed system architecture, ICD, requirements, SOW, and breadboard prototype for 4.0m Antenna Control Unit.• Engineered software solutions for GATR Inflation Unit (critical bug fixes), GATR-FLEX® terminal, and many more.

• Started at GATR as one of only ~20 employees. Worked part-time (at least 20 hours/week) while participating in UAHuntsville’s parallel co-op program (attended classes year-round), and full-time during any semester breaks.• Ran and maintained production “test stand” system to verify radiation pattern compliance of each GATR antenna.• Helped develop 300+ page Technical Manual for GATR’s first POR (USMC ISA), created 11-minute instructional setup video for GATR TRAC™ product, edited/reviewed multiple datasheets and proposals (including SBIRs).• Supported April 2011 AL Tornado disaster relief efforts. Deployed to an Alabama Power staging area near Anniston to provide critical satellite backhaul for several days. Helped coordinate and maintain 9 other sites with GATRs.
