These products include NetOpt, Pipephase, Inplant, Visual Flare, Visual Network, Simply Visual, Engineer’s Toolbox, Simulation Manager.• Managed 25 plus supporting R&D personnel • Provided substantial input into a post-acquisition restructuring plan for the company’s 300 personnel and $55 MM/yr portfolio of products• Planned and led the development effort to migrate a 500,000 plus line Fortran and C application to a modular COM based Visual C++ application in a staged manner. • Conceptualized and designed a highly extensible COM based modular application that utilized a flow sheeting paradigm for diagramming and simulating complex processes.• Led the effort to develop an easy-to-use product for coordinating the calculation of highly distributed and CPU intensive calculations across heterogeneous environments.

The product performed complex thermophysical property and fluid flow prediction calculations in a highly intuitive graphical environment. It also provided significant Windows and COM integration by supporting a complete OLE automation layer, OLE Client and Inplace server support.
