Manager, Business Development
Current-Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and implement sales strategies to generate revenue through event sponsorships, partnerships, and exhibitor sales. Identify and target potential sponsors and exhibitors, build relationships, and negotiate sponsorship packages and contracts.-Sponsorship Management: Oversee the entire sponsorship lifecycle, from prospecting to fulfillment. Coordinate with sponsors to ensure their requirements are met, manage sponsor deliverables, and provide exceptional customer service to maximize sponsor satisfaction.-Business Development: Continuously seek opportunities to expand the event's sponsor and exhibitor base. Identify new markets, industries, and potential sponsors/exhibitors. Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to facilitate business development efforts.-Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing sponsors, exhibitors, and industry partners. Regularly engage with sponsors to understand their goals and objectives, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. Foster long-term partnerships to ensure repeat business.-Event Representation: Represent the organization and event at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the event and engaging with potential sponsors/exhibitors.
