This short term appointment was structured to 'give help where help was needed' while the chaplaincy and the hospital were each, for a variety of reasons, in stages of transition. The responsibilities included overseeing and helping deliver pastoral care and ministry to patients and staff and their families and friends. It involved helping resource, structure and direct a team of bank chaplains and a large number of volunteers and then effect handover to a new permanent chaplain.

Overall responsibility for setting up the structure and strategy of a new international charity with strong Mid East credentials and global ambition focusing on International Peace and Reconciliation, reporting to the Board of Trustees.Encouraging the intellectual definition and theological foundation and introducing a significant theological strand looking at the relationship between religious faith and secular/atheist faith as a means to diffusing conflict.Generating the capacity (core administration, payroll, project management, financial planning and processes) and credibility to pursue objectives.A six month fixed term contract was not renewed by mutual consent after (external) intractable holdups and problems over property purchase, and changing trustee objectives (adding historic castle building preservation and estate management ambitions) which seem likely to lead to a year or two delay without the need for a CEO role or the ready finance to fund.

Kepplewray's focus is on inclusion. Its main Centre is in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, UK and the work specialises in providing outdoor activities to people of all ages, abilities and from all walks of life ranging from school groups to corporate team building. We strive to help "Realise Everyone's Potential". The Centre takes up to 76 guests at a time and the ambition is to give every group (and every individual in that group) the opportunity to participate in challenging and exciting activity and learning programmes together.The charity was formed by the leadership team of a CPAS Venture. I was the overall Venture team leader and the founder of the Kepplewray Trust. We wanted to respond to the many requests from individuals with particular disabilities to join in group adventure holidays. The Kepplewray mansion was purchased and adapted so that no individual, whatever their personal ability/mobility was excluded, or felt excluded from participating in any activity.The work has expanded into Burundi where Kepplewray works with two dioceses providing Inclusive programmes and medical/health education.

"Served my title"​ at St Andrews, actively involved as governor of local school and member of Local Ecumenical Partnership. Led the church through a year's interregnum after sudden collapse and death of the Vicar in the vicarage.Invited to an Associate Vicar position at Emmanuel, Northwood with particular responsibility for restructuring a church plant in a community school. Helped lead the church through an interregnum when the Vicar moved away to a different ministry.

Helped establish this new Italian trade consortium bank in London and generate a market presence through active participation in FRN market and other trading instruments.Delays in appointing Commerce and Trade Director meant that the bank's assets became focused in the trading/treasury area. Bank of England asked me to slow treasury growth because the rest of the bank was not keeping up and therefore gravitating away from its trade charter. I was then approached for the First Interstate position and the Directors gave me permission to move.
