Contract lead for Foreign Military Sales Task Force. Provided security assistance subject matter expertise to operationalize the commander’s concept for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Was responsible for increases in transfers of technology and U.S. capabilities to partner nations and accelerating delivery of equipment. -Hand-picked by Deputy Director general officer to provide senior leader focus to FMS cases  -Successful in gaining approval for sale or transfer of 49 previously stalled equipment cases  -Managed a robust program of over 1400 FMS cases valued in excess of $43 billion  -Composed the command’s Foreign Military Sales Strategy  -Developed a commander directed initiative for a DoD advanced weapons transfer concept that resulted in approval for sale of over $4.5 billion in munitions -Received the Strategy, Plans, and Policy Directorate Award for excellence in 2012

Provided analysis of political military issues in support of Security Cooperation objectives. Advance directorate efforts to build partner capacity through security cooperation / assistance.

Advised the newly formed Iraqi 7th Infantry Division in the conduct of counter terrorism operations. Responsible for the Division’s development and successful transition to operational status.

Provided policy recommendations to the command for issues such as dealing with Iran’s nuclear aspirations, civil war in Iraq, maritime piracy, and served in the Iraq Coalition Provisional Authority. Authored command positions for the National Security and Military Strategies, and the Unified Command Plan.

Graduated with a Masters in Military Studies from the Marine Corps University and completed Joint Professional Military Education Level One.

Served in billets to include: -Battery Commander. Responsible for training, maintenance and readiness of an artillery battery composed of 157 Marines and 45 vehicles. Lead the battery through Combined Arms exercises at the Marine Corps Combined Arms Center, 29 Palms. - Director of the Field Artillery School. Oversaw the development of curriculum and execution of six courses for mid to advanced level artillery students. Managed the Marine and Civilian Cadre of instructors. Conducted command evaluations of the combat proficiency of Marine Artillery units using Mission Essential Task criteria. -Marine Expeditionary Unit Fire Support Coordinator. Developed Fire Support and Effects plans during training and operational deployment to the Mediterranean and Adriatic. Planned and executed staff training exercises using computerized Combined Arms simulator. Developed and executed two brigade level live fire exercises in preparation for MEU deployment.

 Managed the station’s operations to include sales, training, processing, and shipping to recruit training of over 1200 new Marines per year. Developed annual strategies that successfully accomplished all Marine Corps recruiting goals. Managed 13 sales managers and 84 recruiters. Directed the stations marketing and public relations program. Oversaw all station administration to include personnel, budget, and vehicle asset management. Completed U.S. Army Field Artillery Advanced Officers Course at the conclusion of this assignment.
