I also administer the Growth Initiative Fund, an $9.1 million revolving loan program for primary sector companies within Cass County, ND. With my most recent title of SVP, Finance and Entrepreneurial Development, the role was similar to my current duties but had also included some finance & operations oversight/assistance. With my prior role of Research & Business Information Manager, I would collect, organize and maintain data to support GFMEDC's communications, business development inquiry responses, local business expansion programs and company strategies.

As the Fargo Moorhead Community Ambassador, I evangelize the great tools of Yelp.com and the Yelp phone app. Yelp is all over the world and has been particularly strong in the larger markets in the United States for a number of years. I am assisting in growing the Fargo Moorhead market by promoting people to register for Yelp and to be engaged users by posting reviews and pics, in addition to encouraging business owners to claim their Yelp business profile page. This will help increase the FM area content on Yelp which helps locals but is very helpful for travelers to Fargo. When you travel, Yelp is an extremely helpful resource, especially if you have the app on a smart phone.Other duties include creating The Weekly Yelp email, the Review of the Day, managing social media and event planning of Yelp socials throughout the metro.
