Volunteering by participating in MDA muscle walk and raising money through a fraternity philanthropy

Organized and ran a crowdfunding campaign that raised $1,200 for a local Knoxville nonprofit, Paws & Badges. I ran the social media for the campaign on our Facebook page. I also wrote and sent official business letters, memos, press releases and created videos for this campaign. Marketing was a big component of this campaign, due to the nature of raising money in a public forum, and I had the responsibility of keeping our audience up to date and attract new members to our audience as potential donors. Networking was also a big component for this campaign because I had a team to assist me, so communication with my group was key, along with finding more people to join our audience and donate to our cause.
