About John Daniel

An author, inspirational speaker and social entrepreneur, I served as a trusted Human Resources partner to banking CEOs and company boards for over twenty years. As a Chief Human Resources Officer, I had a reputation as a thought leader and a shaper of productive and sustainable cultures. I augmented my decades in human resources and first hand observation of human behavior with in-depth research in psychology, organizational behavior, evolutionary psychology and behavioral neuroscience. A longtime leader on non-profit boards, I am deeply involved in the community with a focus on improving economic opportunity and reducing structural impediments to human flourishing. A heart transplant recipient, I volunteer in support of the American Heart Association. In 2022, my wife and I received the inaugural Living Heart Award from the AHA. The award is named in our honor. A sought-after speaker, I talk on leadership, culture, the ancestral roots of human behavior, influencing, change leadership and social entrepreneurship.
