I am the VP of Sales and Operations at TriMountain Corp, a Top 25 DBJ insurance brokerage that assists business owners and companies with their risk management and insurance needs. I have twenty years of sales and finance experience through a diverse background in commercial banking, business, philanthropy, and international development.My experience in the risk management and insurance industry began in 2012 as the Associate Director of Development at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. In this role, I worked with high-wealth individuals and corporations ranging from $100M to $42B in revenue, and led development for the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Program. Key achievements of the RMI Program include growth from 19 students in 2011 to 214 students in the 2014/15 academic year, achieving ‘FAME’ designation by the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB) - only the top 20 RMI Programs in the nation are ranked, recognition by Bloomberg BusinessWeek for innovation and education, and establishing 1 of only 8 graduate RMI programs nationally.I have sound leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to articulate and execute strategies while gaining the consensus and commitment of others. My experience includes leading projects of 50 to 60 people and teams of 10 to 15 team members. Some of my unique experiences have included a fellowship at the Bossey Institute, University of Geneva Switzerland, researching the economic and political partnerships of the World Council of Churches, World Bank and the International Monetary Fund; serving as a liaison to the Department of Energy, National Council of Churches, and the White House Office of Neighborhoods and Faith Based Initiatives.
