At Natick High School, I work in the special education department to provide supplemental instruction and support in general education classrooms to meet the needs of students with disabilities. This role implies my supporting classes in history, English, Spanish, math, and physics.I also work at Brown Elementary School’s ASAP (After School Activity Program) site as a Kindergarten Instructor. I am responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of kindergarten and first grade students while fostering students’ socio-emotional growth through activities and play.

I am responsible for overseeing cooperative games and performing arts activities, as well as contributing to the day-to-day operations of both summer camp and school year social skills groups. This means that I take on the typical responsibilities of childcare, while also providing a therapeutic environment for clients. The key to my work is directly and indirectly teaching empathy and collaboration skills through play and structured physical activities.Academy MetroWest provides social skill programs for the youth of the MetroWest area. School year groups, as well as Creative Adventures summer camp, offer them a space where they can be embraced and lifted up alongside their peers. Being in operation since 1994, Academy Metrowest prides itself on providing child-centered, group-oriented therapeutic games and activities, which foster values of empathy, teamwork, and individuality.

I was responsible for tutoring undergraduate students in writing, Spanish, and Italian. Upon being promoted, I became responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Office using TutorTrac, while reliably communicating with tutors and reporting potential concerns to professional staff. I was also responsible for preparing and leading training sessions for peer tutors and performing academic research on innovative, inclusive, and student-focused writing center practices.The Office of Tutoring Services, formerly known as the Center for Writing and Academic Achievement, oversees all peer and professional tutoring at Stonehill College. Tutoring Services offers subject tutoring in more than 35 subjects, as well as writing tutoring in all subjects. The Office is accredited by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).

I was responsible for tutoring undergraduate students in Spanish, Italian, and writing, with my training being primarily in writing tutoring. I handled both scheduled appointments and drop-in visits, and tutored both in-person and over Zoom. I was qualified to tutor writing in all subjects, but I am specialized in history and social sciences.
