At Academy MetroWest, kids are welcomed into our fun, supportive community. We teach them the skills they need to make friends and show them why it's worth the effort! Academy MetroWest runs small groups that meet weekly. Run by professional counselors, groups center on cooperative, non-competitive physical activity as a means of helping children, aged 6-16 improve the way they view themselves and interact with others. At Academy MetroWest, we strive to help children: Develop And enhance social skills Improve self-image And body image Build physical self-confidence Increase frustration tolerance Relax And reduce stress Channel And focus energy constructively At the Academy, we offer children a space where they can be embraced and lifted up alongside their peers. Being in operation since 1994, we pride ourselves on providing child-centered, group-oriented therapeutic games and activities, which foster values of empathy, teamwork, and individuality.
