I develop tools and maintain the codebase necessary to help quants in their development of new models and data analysis. I primarily work with Python and Pandas.

I worked as a consultant for Lam Research, in a role that bridges data science and product engineering. I sought to optimize the performance of their semiconductor etch equipment by analyzing data and generating physical models. I design experiments to gather sufficient information to propose new features and increase functionality. I work in a fast-paced environment that requires continual learning.

I worked as a Mathematician at Betstone where I created the probabilistic models that underlay their range of gambling products. I ensured that they worked as designed, and returned within a reasonable level of risk. I analysed product data to ensure correct operation, and to provide insights into player behaviour. I worked with a diverse team of programmers, game designers and artists to create unique game experiences that worked from a gameplay and mathematical perspective. I frequently presented mathematical work to both general and technical audiences.

I worked under Prof Mauro Ferreira in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, examining magnetic interactions in graphene. I created simulations to characterize the interaction accurately, and analytic mathematics to capture the fundamental physics. I learned how to optimize code and gained experience with high-performance computing. I presented my results in scientific papers and at international conferences. I gained valuable experience in research and independent learning.

I worked under Prof J.M.D Coey researching spin logic devices. I fabricated devices, serviced machines, performed simulations and collaborated with Intel. I performed theoretical calculations in condensed matter physics with Siddhartha Sen.
