• Head of Division, with responsibility over the period for retail conduct supervision of banks, retail credit firms, insurance firms, and retail intermediaries (investment, insurance and mortgage brokers), in addition to authorisation and prudential supervision of relevant firms, consumer risk analytics and related publications for the Central Bank.• Working within the Consumer Protection Directorate, leading a team of 50+ supervisors to identify and manage consumer risks, supporting the development and implementation of the Central Bank of Ireland’s strategic plan, in order to ensure that the Irish financial system operates in the best interests of consumers and the wider economy.

• Head of Division, with responsibility for leading and managing the resolution function in fulfilling the Central Bank of Ireland’s mandate as National Resolution Authority.• Oversaw the development and implementation of the resolution framework in Ireland, working with key stakeholders in strengthening the resolvability of Irish financial service providers; managed the orderly resolution of a number of firms in order to maintain financial stability; and represented the Central Bank of Ireland on the Single Resolution Board and at the European Banking Authority.• Led teams of specialist staff with responsibility for resolution planning, funding, execution, policy development, and financial crisis preparedness and management - for the banking, insurance, MiFID investment firm, and credit union sectors.

Led the formulation, development and implementation of EU and national prudential policy, specialising in the area of Liquidity & Funding Risk. Represented the Central Bank of Ireland at the European Banking Authority and other EU fora.

Postbank Group, a 50/50 joint venture between An Post and BNP Paribas consisted of:Postbank – the retail bank with 1000 branches; One Direct – the insurance intermediary; and PostPoint – the Point of Sale retail business.• Tasked with establishing and developing the Treasury Dept for this new entrant into the retail banking market. A member of the group's Asset and Liability (ALCO) and Pricing management committees and attendee to the Risk & Capital Committee (RCC) of the Board.• Led the treasury and balance sheet risk management for the Group; shaping, managing and executing the Capital, Liquidity, Funding, Market and Credit Risk policies.

Helaba Dublin, a German wholesale bank based in Ireland focused on large ticket corporate lending, asset based financing, tax leveraged transactions, defeasance structures and related treasury activities.• Funded and managed a €4bn multi-currency loan/bond book, using a variety of treasury tools.• Controlled the bank's Interest Rate and FX Risk utilizing on & off balance sheet products.
