John Ries Email & Phone Number

My name is John Ries, and I am currently a Junior enrolled in the Kelley School of Business with a major in finance. I am also a member of the IU men's rugby team, where I serve as a Treasurer. I am originally from Bethesda, Maryland, and I attended Gonzaga College High School from 2017 to 2021. During my high school years, I was a three-year member of the retreat leadership team, and I accumulated many service hours at various locations all around the greater Washington, D.C area. In addition to this, I was the captain of both my school's soccer and rugby teams during my senior year. I am extremely grateful for growing up in the Washington D.C area, for it is a very culturally diverse region that gave me countless lessons and experiences to take and use to grow. I am looking forward to continuing my growth at Indiana University by not only majoring in Finance, but I am also excited to look into potential co-majors and minors to further extend my knowledge. Along with these prospective co-majors or minors, I would also like to take up another leadership role within the IU rugby team, and hopefully serve elsewhere in my community, as well.
