Team Ambassador Intern
Oakland, California, United States
During my time as a Team Ambassador Intern, I was primarily a part of the Raider Nation on Location (R.N.O.L.) program. As part of the R.N.O.L Intern Team, we would go out to various locations that the Oakland Raiders would send us and promote the organization by handing our Oakland Raider paraphernalia such as stickers, lanyards, pocket schedules, and keychains. To go along with these duties, I also worked on game days.On game days the R.N.O.L. staff would set up and tear down the Raider Rookie Zone within the stadium. At the Raider Rookie Zone, we served as a team ambassodor to the Raider and other NFL teams' fans. We offered football related activites such as throwng and kicking touchdowns and field goals, football coloring sheets, and many other activities. Along the lines of football related activities, I also aided in the Gatorade Mini-Camps, that the Oakland Raiders held around the Bay Area for elementary schools. At these camps, we would have the children go through the very same football drills that the pros do. We would transport step-over bags and dummies, for the kids to use. On some occasions, players from the team would help out and run the drill alongside us.
