• Directed the planning, resourcing, synchronization of training and operations of an Army organization consisting of over 930 Soldiers; both while stationed at Fort Hood, TX and through a high-tempo, operational deployment to the Iraqi theater of operations (northern Salah ad Din, Iraq; Operation New Dawn 11-12).• Strategically postured the organization for long-term accomplishment by developing two forward-focused annual training plans that took into account mission-essential tasks, resourcing and environmental turbulence.• Directed the planning, resourcing, synchronization and supervision of the organization’s maintenance program ensuring on overall operational readiness rate above 99% of over 1300 pieces of equipment worth in excess of $350 million, resulting in no training or operational impact due to equipment failure.• Responsible for the planning and synchronization the organization’s leader development program, to include effective personnel placement and mentoring of over 80 officers.• Exercised fiscal responsibility by initiating the identification and recycling/recapitalization of over 400 pieces of equipment, totaling over $1.1 million.
