For my first four years at Borders, I worked at stores in Columbus, OH, Kansas City, KS, Cleveland, OH, and Akron, OH. During these years I was promoted regularly to various roles with increased responsibilities and was known for my generous smile and my infectious positive attitude. During my time at Borders, I was promoted 9 times and worked for 13 different supervisors. I left Borders, Inc., in 2011, after the company announced it was closing due to bankruptcy. Though painful at the time, it was ultimately a prime opportunity for growth, and I have loved the roles I have held since.
