I Interned and did over 250 hours internship hours at Planned Parenthood. During the course of this internship I was educated on the various kinds of STD and STI (gained knowledge about symptoms, treatment and prevention). I trained HIPAA laws and policy--Planned Parenthood take a strong stand on protecting patient rights and information. I was a part of the center's intiative to go GREEN; my contribution to this intiatives include converting patient files into digital folders (this included handling patient documents. My job description also allowed me to set up appointment for patients.
