Obtained Federal Firearms License in 1985 and began general gunsmithing and firearms restoration locally. Launched website "Johnny's Shotgun Chokes and Forcing Cones" early '90's and began specializing in shotgun barrel modifications which included installation of screw-in shotgun choke tubes and forcing cone lengthening and polishing. This was originally intended to serve turkey hunters who needed a very tight pattern. It quickly got picked up by competition shooters such as trap & skeet, card/splatter/plate/spot/paper and sporting clays shooters. Upland bird hunters and all other lead shot applications where increased shot count/reduced shot flyers improve the pattern density in a 30" circle at 40 yds. reducing voids or holes in the pattern.Specialties: Shotgun choke tube installation and forcing cone modification.
