Territory Manager
Current• Successfully promote and sell GAF products through strategic selling to key stakeholders such as major owners, roofing consultants, and contractors• Identify prospective projects and decision-makers, maintain timely communication, and execute effective follow-up, resulting in increased product uptake• Play a pivotal role in the upkeep of high-quality roofing contractors, market dynamics, and active involvement in local trade organizations to manage the contractor base• Conduct regular business review meetings, training to contractor crews, and monitor GAF applications to ensure superior service• Provide valuable technical services by reviewing roofing specifications, participating in pre-job meetings, conducting periodic job inspections, and offering basic troubleshooting support• Collaborate closely with local field technical representatives to address and prioritize technical needs within the territory• Demonstrate adeptness in budget management by forecasting sales, overseeing sales-related expenses, and ensuring adherence to defined limits and company policies• Effectively manage all territory expenses to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability• Maintain meticulous records and documentation by completing all required administrative and electronic reports promptly and accurately; including itineraries, expense reports, prospect lists, job quotes, shipping forecasts, call reports, activity reports, guarantee forms, and factory warehouse inventory reports, adhering to established guidelines and timelines• Execute pricing strategies with precision, maximizing pricing on each job while ensuring proper documentation and responsible determination of pricing deviations considering factors such as job size and competition to optimize pricing decisions• Collaborate with the Credit Manager to ensure all accounts are maintained in a up-to-date status, contributing to overall financial health and stability
