Focused on increasing welfare rights access (education, health, and livelihood security) for underprivileged families. Worked on policies like RTE 12(1)(c), PMKVY, BoCW, and Early Childhood Education.Led the program to amplify awareness and accessibility of welfare policies, implementing a project across Tamil Nadu. Managed volunteers and NGOs, expanding policy reach to underprivileged families. Collaborated with the education department to adopt best practices, enhancing access under RTE 12(1)(c). Successfully obtained an MoU for implementing a school readiness program in 20 Anganwadis in Chennai, signed by the IAS officer heading TN ICDS.Impact:1) Increased awareness from 8,000 to 30,961 families by onboarding 800 volunteers and collaborating with 40 NGOs across Tamil Nadu. 2)Increased student enrolment from 797 in 2019-20 to 2,709 in 2020-21.

Ratangar , Churu District, Rajastan

• Worked with 3 government schools in rural Rajasthan to improve learning outcomes of students of class 3 and 5, thus impacting over 170 children and 6 teachers with an average 20% increase in Student Learning Outcomes for the year 2016-2017• Improved school processes, creating 3 functional libraries, establishing a student council in schools and using school structures to aid in teaching processes.• Collaborated with 6 team members to conceptualise and execute a ‘Swacch Bharat’ Campaign in 2 communities which resulted in community led cleanliness drives, the ban on plastic bags in 8 village stores, the use of paper bags by shopkeepers. 3 women from the community also started making paper bags for economic gains as a result.• Established a ‘Learning Centre’ in one community for the youth as well as for children where a holistic curriculum encompassing community development, Math, English and career guidance was provided for 28 youngsters. These youths in-turn taught 60 children English and Math• Undertook 4 labour jobs to understand the lifestyle of villagers – as a cook for a marriage, as a farmer, looking after animal husbandry and farming, as a labourer, to dig wells for rain-water and as a vegetable sellerBased on research and understanding case studies of African Countries, addressed the issue of lack of awareness on clean habits among students by leveraging trigger points. For example, demonstrated the importance of washing hands by asking children to drink a glass of milk which had been contaminated with nail-dirt.
