I work with organizations to raise the value of their marketing and communications strategies, to make their message more compelling and, ultimately, to change their audience’s behaviour. Those changes in behaviour have included everything from encouraging blue chips to embrace new communications technologies to engaging teenagers in conversations about issues like peer pressure, contraception and STIs. I’ve founded, grown and sold businesses (and admittedly, helped fold a few too). I’ve worked both agency- and client-side in marketing, advertising and tech. Key areas of expertise include marketing strategy and management, brand planning and implementation, advertising and communication through digital and traditional media, advocacy programs and social marketing with particular experience in leading national and community-based campaigns that change behaviour among teens and young adults.Specialties: I work either independently or as part of a team (and play nicely with others).
