IT Infrastructure Team, Specializing in Managed Security Services (MSS) aka Cyber OperationsI design, build, operationalize, and support the underlying infrastructure atop of which all of Optiv's applications reside. We use a hybrid cloud & highly-available data center environment, including a medium-sized VMware deployment w/ HA, DRS, and distributed virtual switching, and components from the big three cloud providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP.I architected the MSS environment from scratch, which includes a logic-oriented subnetting schema, highly available Palo Alto Networks firewall cluster, internal and external BGP routing, F5 load balancers, iSCSI switching for our Pure Storage SAN, and more. Our Linux servers can be deployed rapidly with my PXE environment, which uses Kickstart to bootstrap, followed by desired-state configuration management for the finishing touches to build compliant and hardened systems.I also build and manage application-level infrastructure that the business units and external customers use daily, such as highly-available public key infrastructure, SAML and OIDC identity providers, and Active Directory / Entra ID.
