I am the author and founder of Level Five Selling, a company that has helped Chief Revenue Officers assess and develop their sales leaders for over seven years. In my 40-plus years of sales management consulting, I have written four books and scores of articles on frontline sales leadership, coaching, training, and recruiting based on my extensive research and experience in the field.My mission is to enable sales organizations to achieve and exceed their quotas by building and sustaining a culture of excellence and accountability. I partner with CROs to design and implement sales management systems that drive the execution of their sales strategy and align with their business goals. I also provide coaching and consulting services to sales leaders and trainers, empowering them to develop preeminent sales teams.I began my career selling sales and sales leadership training with Xerox Learning Systems. First appointed as an account executive in the firm’s Toronto office, he was subsequently named regional sales manager, general sales manager, and, ultimately, Director of U.S. Sales Operations. Next, I joined Omega Performance, an international bank consulting firm, as EVP of Sales and Marketing. In the early 90s, with two partners, I co-founded Advantage Performance Group and The Real Learning Company. This human performance management venture grew to a national network of more than 75 performance consultants serving 300 clients. When acquired by a Stockholm-based public multinational, this business realized $24 million. I have sold or overseen the sale of more than $365 million of licensed training, and today, my practice is focused exclusively on the sales function. My work includes executive coaching, developing sales management processes, sales forecast management, sales-force assessment and recruiting, new product launches, sales talent development, and sales coaching.
