Moved to South Africa and lived there for 15 years. We built a village of orphan homes, and a school, which now serves 150 students. Hired, trained and managed staff. ☑ Established and managed $500,000 operational budget. ☑ Transitioned funding: from 100% US-generated to 60%+ now being Africa-generated.☑ Led strategic plan and planning with BOD.☑ Designed and developed the infrastructure; roads, sewer, and water system.☑ Manage the construction project of the orphan homes and school buildings; providing leadership to contractors, sub-contractors, and venders.☑ Recruited and hired managers who managed their staff.☑ Developed and facilitated a training program for South African and American staff.☑ Coached staff and other organizations with similar vision.☑ Developed and nurtured positive partnerships.☑ Practiced prudent financial leadership leading to our $50,000 investment now valued at $3,000,000.
