Responsible for individual and unit/organizational readiness and resilience of over 1,900 Soldiers, 52Civilians, 3 Battalions, and 17 Companies across 4 states. Provide trained and ready forces for Contingency Operations. Serve as senior mission commander for an assigned area with the responsibility for theater distribution and sustainment operations to generate combat power, enable freedom of maneuver and extend operational reach. Ensure quality training, education and welfare of over 1,900 Soldiers. Provide oversight and internal controls to ensure proper and most judicious use of over 250million dollars in equipment, manpower and budget resources IAW established DOD, Army and US Army Reserve standards and policies.

Provides strategic planning support, capabilities assessment and technical evaluation, project management and execution, performance tracking and reporting, and coordination with stakeholders, for the Rapid Prototyping Fund; the Biometrics and Forensics Portfolio; and, other prototyping, red teaming, or experimentation portfolios as needed. Oversees a selection of projects within these portfolios in accordance with acquisition and rapid prototyping best practices. Supports the execution of projects in collaboration with COCOMs, Joint Staff, Services, Defense Agencies and Services.

Strategic Planner for the Project Manager (PM), Department of Defense (DoD) Biometrics. Responsible for near, mid, and long range acquisition planning including the integration of Science and Technology (S&T) efforts for Army biometrics systems, quick reaction capabilities, and emerging capabilities within and impacting the PM DoD Biometrics portfolio and the DoD Biometrics Enterprise. Maintains cognizance of current, new and emerging identity intelligence capabilities and activities across DoD and Industry (i.e., biometrics, forensics, Documents and Media Exploitation – DOMEX, and Machine Foreign Language Translation – MFLTS). Leads PM DoD Biometrics effort and support to DoD and Interagency working-level strategic forums to shape governance, guidance, policies, procedures and responsibilities to affect positive outcomes.

Assistant Chief of Staff and Chief Operations Officer for the Deployment Support Command, consisting of four Transportation Surface Brigade and the Expeditionary Rail Command, totaling 47 units over 18 states, and over 2,600 Soldiers, providing the manpower to the Surface Deployment Distribution Command under USTRANSCOM. Responsible for Training, Readiness, and Oversight (TRO) of Cargo Documentation, Port and Distribution Management, Rail Operations across the Army and rail assessment globally. Principal General Staff Officer for the Command in matters concerning operations, plans, exercises, mobilization, organization, and training. In synchronizing the power projection of the military's combat power via surface deployment by rail, truck, ship, and contracted aircraft, maintains situational awareness on CONUS and OCONUS operations to ensure orders issued support Commander's intent with the appropriate resources.

Commander of a Reserve Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command Battalion that delivers world-class origin-to-destination distribution solutions. Provide guidance to develop operational directives, tactical orders, field training exercises, and training schedules to support the development, readiness, and mobilization of over 230 military personnel stationed throughout the Southeast United States. Supervises execution of unit resources to ensures that equipment and supplies can be delivered whenever and wherever Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines are deployed,...enough and on time!!!

Foreign Military Sales (FMS) subject matter expert and Army Staff point of contact for joint/interagency and congressional coordination and approval of grants, loans, and the sale of defense articles to coalition partners. Advises Senior Leadership, Security Assistance and Cooperation community, and Combatant Commands on equipment availability, technology restrictions, and current capability and capacity of foreign partners. Leads interagency task force to coordinate the approval, execution, and logistical distribution of defense articles in support of the development of foreign security cooperation partners.

Provided analysis and advice to Senior Leadership on organization, operational plans, and resources required for an organization consisting of over 500 military and civilian personnel supporting the training, force development, force protection, mobilization, and security of the 3rd Infantry Division and greater Fort Stewart community. Developed long range plans and led targeting working group to synchronize resources to maximize support of Soldiers and Families. Developed and managed five full-scale force protection exercises to improve coordination among garrison agencies and regional first responders and ensure the force protection of the Fort Stewart Community.

Supervised the execution of the world class mobilization program. Planned, developed, and supervised implementation of mobilization plans, policies, procedures, and guidance to ensure the readiness of Reserve Component formations preparing for combat operations. Responsibilities included supervision and delivery of the full spectrum of Title 10 responsibilities to provide combat ready formations to Combatant Commands -- planned and coordinated the logistical movement of personnel and equipment for 3 Brigades and over 30,000 Soldiers from origin to mob station to destination; coordinated and managed the synchronization of training resources and base life support to ensure the combat effectiveness during mob station training; ensured validation of units and timely delivery to of combat effective formations.

Resource and Distribution manager of Department of the Army's Air Defense and Field Artillery sensor systems. Responsibilities included: Assess required operational capabilities and analyze requirements by applying knowledge of Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) system, the Army Campaign Plan (ACP), future warfighting concepts, and current force contingency requirements. Perform feasibility/affordability/suitability reviews, and integrate all aspects of force modernization, force structure, mission area/capability, system compatibility, combat balance, and fiscal resources in order to optimize accomplishment of the Army mission. Developed the Army's program objective memorandum (POM) for a variety of systems/programs of record. Developed and executed world-wide distribution plans for fire support and air defense equipment essential to the accomplishment of mobilization and contingency plans for rapid reaction to foreign, domestic, and natural disasters. Directed, planned, managed and coordinated programs and resources to synchronize requirements across the Army and Combatant Commands (COCOMS) in support of deployments and redeployments. Assured synchronization of systems and programs research, development, acquisition (RDA), equipping, installation, training, simulation and sustainment priorities established during affordability reviews and subsequent programming and budgeting decisions to support installation/brigade mobilizations.

Instruct, train, and mentor Georgetown University ROTC senior cadets in their pre-commissioning officers course. Specifically impart basic knowledge of U.S. military doctrine, teach historical battle analysis, and provide guidance in military professional ethics and ethical decision making. Coached and mentored Ranger Challenge Team and served as President of Dis-enrollment Board. Served as a conduit for 3 Professors of Military Science during tenure, advising them on recruiting, retention, training, operations, security, logistics, and human resource management

Senior Military Advisor to Iraqi Army Battalion (523 personnel) engaged in combat operations and responsible for an area of operations over 400 square miles on the Ninevah Province ranging from Syrian Border to Tal Afar, Iraq. In partnership with a Special Forces Detachment and multiple maneuver units in area of operations trained and equipped the Iraqi battalion during combat operations to operate effectively in a counterinsurgency environment. Provided guidance and advice on installation plans, counterinsurgency training, mobilization, operational plans, security, intel collection, and logistics to combat an insurgency in the area of operations that was inflicting 60 IEDs and dozens of casualties weekly. Successfully neutralized insurgency in area of operations and was first unit to transition authority of operations back to Government of Iraq in Ninevah province. In addition to planning and coordinating security operations for 28 polling sites in Ninewah Province for the Iraqi Constitutional Referendum and Parliamentary Election, iraqi battalion was lead effort in clearing insurgents from Tal Afar and surrounding areas.

Served as Washington, DC liaison for the command's program manager of the Single Integrated Air Picture. The command's primary action officer appointed to attend inter-service and inter-agency high-level meetings to review and recommend planning, programming and budgeting decisions in support of COCOM requirements. Assessed and evaluated the short and long range plans of a team of engineers from multiple organizations in developing the gap analysis of disparate weapons platforms to develop a common operational picture across the services, provided technically authoritative advise and assistance to program manager (Brigade Commander or Commanders of similar scope) for approval, altering, or rejecting program proposals. Drafted and prepared weekly correspondence for Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASAALT).

Served as Subject Matter Expert to Senior leadership within Air and Space Operations Directorate of Air Force Staff on counter air topics being reviewed by Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC). Led an acquisition and requirements liaison team within the Missile Defense Agency to provide input for operational architecture development, conduct military utility assessments and inform doctrine development teams on impacts to plans for integrated homeland air security. Drafted and coordinated congressional briefings and initial planning documents and OPLANS for deployment of elements of National Missile Defense System that provided senior leaders and legislators a capability readiness assessment. Provided executive summaries,correspondence and reports to higher headquarters, to include subordinate and serviced activities to ensure issues and projected impacts were identified to senior leaders.

Developed analysis of radar and communications coverage of entire continental United States as part of an interagency team in response to 9/11 disaster. Led an interagency crisis action team in reviewing, developing and executing plans essential for safe airfield/aircraft operations within CONUS. Effort led to newly formed Office of Homeland Security and Federal Aviation Administration's acquisition strategy to cover gaps in radar coverage. Key team member of strategic planning cell in a joint environment. Effort focused on analysis of short and long-term goals and objectives, development of resources and policies governing organization.
