Designed and implemented the AWS global network to be used by DataStax products such as AstraDB serverless. Drove the adoption of ArgoCD to be used as the defacto deployment tool for AstraDB product deployment as well as the use of the applicationset construct as the unit of deployment. Led the visualization effort for our analytics platform where we built a team and culture of business facing technologist. I was fortunate to start a product/platform from scratch and build an incredible team . We choose a new tech stack to the company and both learned and taught each other as we architected and implemented the visual analytics product. It truly was a startup hidden within a large company. We delivered a product in 10 months that had feature parity with a external market leading product we were dependent on. By removing this dependency, we saved large amounts of recurring licensing costs and facilitated owning our own data as well. The product was/is a browser application which provides reporting, dash boarding, pathing, and conversion funnel visualizations to explore and communicate the business.
