John Pears RIBA founded, grew and lead the 50-person Boston office of an international architectural practice specializing in mixed-use multi-family of all scales, highly sustainable public K-12, senior living, higher-ed, and workplace strategy. Pears Design Resource provides design consultation services and development advice for developers and non-profit organizations. John's strengths include a deep understanding of efficiency, constructability, beauty and delight. Through associations with architectural firms throughout the US, John is able to provide clients with full architectural services. John's design philosophy is based on a belief that buildings best serve all people by creating positive use-able outdoor spaces including the full spectrum of private to public spaces. His focus on PLACE-MAKING is at the heart of his work.
