Established and led a workforce development program to prepare emerging talent for STEM careers and to diversify the workplace for a global venture capital firm. Supervised the operations, programming, and development teams across the Midwest region where we impacted over 2,000 individuals and constantly outperformed on satisfaction and growth measures. Managed a $3 million budget and a partner portfolio of corporate, nonprofits, tech companies, and other industry leading organizations including Google, Raytheon, Ford, and University of Michigan.

As a management consultant I partnered with NGOs, government agencies, foundations, and others to transform their organizations. I managed teams and complex projects to engage internal and external stakeholders; assess departments, processes and tools; identify needs and challenges, and opportunities; and provide recommendations for improvement. I supported the implementation of improvement initiatives which included executive coaching, facilitation, requirements gathering, tool adoption, and process development. Provided expertise in design thinking methodology across client projects to support innovation, adoption, and use.

As a dean of students I created and maintained an inclusive and affirming middle school culture that led to greater student and parent engagement which in turn boosted staff morale and led to student growth. This was accomplished through development of new character-based curriculum, management of advisory courses, leading the Parent Leadership Committee, and partnering with key stakeholders.

I developed sixth through eight grade curriculum and provided teachers with various resources to support student achievement. As a coach to middle school science teachers I shared best to better them as professionals. I also taught sixth grade science and eighth grade writing where students made academic gains.

As an educator I taught over sixty students science curriculum through technology, labs, and relevant content. These efforts led to my students achieving the highest student growth scores school-wide on the 2011 - 2012 state assessment.
