Senior Project Manager
Plan, coordinate, and implement complex software development and hardware upgrade projects in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment. Working with all business departments, establish, coordinate and improve standardized processes to increase workflow efficiencies.- Facilitate in the definition and modification of project requirements, objectives, scope and milestones. Involve all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility of all product requirements. Track project performance using meaningful and thorough tools and techniques to analyze progress of goals.- Newly assigned to an on-going application upgrade project -- detailed a project plan and schedule for monitoring and tracking the 2-year software project – guidance and “turn-around” strategy prevented costly schedule and resource overruns while successfully deploying the application to customers.- Create and oversee the change management process to control project cost, scope, schedule, and quality – project status along with risk assessment and mitigation plans regularly briefed to the Chief Technical Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. - Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project deliverables, including managing expectations, driving key decisions, and exceeding customer requirements across related projects.- Enhanced the Customer Support ticket escalation process to include experts from business departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues Customer Service and QA are unable to resolve or recreate. - Assist Product, Development and QA teams in Scrum Master duties to assign work, identify and resolve blockers, continually improve processes, and prioritize resources to achieve milestones and release dates.
