As the founding Director of this Brooklyn-based summer program, I worked with a number of wonderful partners to lead a six-week program of education and recreation for 100+ boys and girls, aged 10-12. I was the main point of contact between seven major Brooklyn cultural institutions, coordinating and scheduling all activities between Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn Children's Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Prospect Park Alliance, Lefferts' Homestead, and Prospect Park Wildlife Center. I hired, trained, and supervised a staff of 11 annually, and was responsible for budgetary and safety concerns. Finally, I was excited to film, direct, and edit our official promotional videos.The Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program continued to succeed, and grew into the Heart of Brooklyn.

As the Director of Carney Sandoe's "engine room", I hired and trained a small staff and led them in providing administrative support for our national teacher/administrator placement efforts. I maintained an eight station Novell Networked computer system and its software with the support of a software technician, coordinated the acquisition and implementation of advanced office technology, and maintained all office equipment. Email was not yet an industry standard, so one of my major responsibilities was for the cost analysis and execution of all company mailing campaigns, including daily information exchange between client schools and teacher/administrator candidates.
