Create assembly fixtures and procedures for new product designs, as well as refine current fixtures and procedures.Work closely with Production, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Purchasing departments, as well as with outside vendors as required for finalizing design concepts and enhancing the quality of our products.Evaluate incoming inspection of non-conforming component parts and assemblies for possible acceptance based on dimensional analysis, safety, reliability and performance (Material Review Board).Examine non-conformance of in-house machined components for acceptance and corrective action. Corrective action entails reviewing component design, tooling, processes, materials, setup and training.Create detailed standard practices, work instructions, new product requirement specifications, test reports, design validation and verification reports as required by ISO 9001. Created and maintain departmental standards index and library (including UL, ISO, SAE, BS, DIN, BS, EN and CSA standards)Created specialized procedures to allow marketing to create Special Products (modifications of existing products).
