Operations Development Manager (Training)• Project management for the introduction of new driver simulators (a committed obligation, 12 simulators across 3 sites) and a new approach to the use of simulation. This was a start to finish process including base design review, site development and facilities, project planning, standard costing and cost analysis, engagement of stakeholders, operational and risk management, creation of evidence packs and reports for the Department of Transport). Leading the change in delivery style, creation of trainer and learner guides in conjunction with automated scenario simulator runs. • Technologies in training (introduction training for trainee drivers and instructors – mobile devices, training support platforms, Microsoft 365)• Blended learning – ensuring training materials and blended delivery platforms are fit for purpose and complimented the learning experience• Instructional design – use of instructional and neuro design principals when creating online training material and eLearning so that material that is produced is both engaging and informative with the learning objectives at the forefront of the design process. • eLearning – creation and management of eLearning suite covering all aspects of Driver Training.• Administration of the learner management system• Microsoft 365 online – project management of the introduction of MS365 throughout the training department and all learners (over 100 staff) – change management from the use of the Google platform to 365 and ensuring all materials accessible on the platform. • IT infrastructure – liaising with stakeholders to review the IT capabilities and requirements necessary for the use of multimedia devices and platforms (upload/download speeds, wifi reception and umbrella security access).• Creation of team and communication sites to enable learners to access material and useful information.• Train driver training delivery• Simulator training delivery
