I believe in a holistic approach in solving many of today's problems, both on an interpersonal and an institutional level. When presented a project or research question, I approach the objective with a sociocultural lens.Utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods, I identifyand assess the impact between demographic variables (e.g., age, health, community needs, socioeconomic status, etc.) and public health initiatives. This can be in the form of a needs assessment or a program evaluation.I see myself working with an interdisciplinary team,whose mission is to improve population health through critical and creative problem solving. More importantly, I hope to be surrounded by colleagues who will continually inspire me with fresh perspectivesand will share the same drive to accomplish projects.
