CurrentExecutive leadership, campus architect, strategic campus planning, operational management, real estate development management, and lake environmental stewardship for this National Historic Landmark lakefront campus. Chautauqua serves as a non-profit institution of life-long learning focusing on the pillars of fine and performing arts, education, recreation, entertainment, and religion. Also oversees the administration of architectural and land-use regulations/zoning/entitlements, campus transportation, waterfront, police/security (until 2019), fleet, Buildings/Gardens/Grounds, and performs as lake management representative. Provides diverse audience presentations in-person and online. Develops and manages annual $6 million operating budget and $12 million capital budget (plus special capital projects). Oversees up to 110 department employees. Develops and executes master planning and capital project processes including designs, budgets, schedules and project management. Our 700+ acre campus on beautiful Chautauqua Lake is home to over 160 historic and contemporary institution structures, gardens, and features including the recently constructed $42 million Amphitheater, the historic and world's largest outdoor Massey Organ, the grand 1881 Athenaeum Hotel, the Lewis Miller/Thomas Edison Cottage, historic and endowed gardens, and 600+ private homes dating from the late 1800's to today.
