With over twenty years of experience as a director of merchandise planning, I am a strategic and analytical leader who drives inventory optimization and revenue growth for large retail organizations. I currently oversee the planning, allocation, and replenishment of acoustic guitars and guitar accessories at Guitar Center, the world's largest musical instrument retailer.In my role, I leverage my advanced skills in Allocation, Excel, and other Planning applications to create and execute effective merchandise strategies that align with customer demand, market trends, and financial goals. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to optimize product lifecycles, promotions, and negotiations. I am passionate about delivering high-quality products and services to guitar enthusiasts and musicians of all levels. My mission is to help Guitar Center achieve its vision of being the best place to buy, play, and learn music.
