Worked as a Sales Representative for the Schools Advisory Service. The company provides staff absence insurance for schools nationally. I am responsible for managing growth in the North West and in Wales. It is my duty to identify areas of the market where the company can expand and use my social skills to make connections in these areas. It is my job to decide on where the company should make financial commitments in ways of attending and running conferences in the required area.It is also my role to visit schools whether on a one to one basis to discuss the policy or to present in front of numerous clients / potential clients. Dissertation Title: A Critical Assessment of Western and Asian IR theoretical perspectives of China's rise and position in International SocietyIn my thesis I looked at how different theoretical perspectives effect our interaction and relationship with China militarily and on a socioeconomic level. Including how the modern world may evolve as a consequence of these perspectives.I also participated in extra circular activities. During my time at the university I was made president of the University of Manchester Golf Team - participating in 14 matches and wining 11. My role as president meant I had to organise fixtures, negotiate kit and membership deals . Organise and run training and select the squads. Project title: What is the most effective way to deal with the threat of international terrorism stemming from Iraq and Afghanistan post 2001?This dissertation includes several different theoretical and practical methods (military, social and economic) of dealing with the apparent rise in terror threats stemming from Iraq and Afghanistan. This dissertation was written in 2010 before the conception of ISIS. A point which I always make as I did write a socioeconomic chapter explaining that the economic position the west left Iraq and to an extent Afghanistan in the early 2000's a breeding ground for terrorism and extremism was created.
