As the Executive Managing Editor of The Bottom Line, a weekly newspaper with over 7,000 issues in circulation, I was in charge of managing over $20,000 in revenue. I revamped the payroll system, making it both more efficient and easier to understand and maintain. I also ran weekly meetings and coordinated between the Editorial Board and a staff of over 50 writers and photographers.Prior to holding this position, I was an active Staff Writer regularly completing more than 4 articles per week.

Researched and wrote an average of 3-5 articles a week for the weekly newspaper, The Bottom Line. Trained in photography, videography, and layout design. Interviewed people across a wide spectrum of both campus and community life and ensured their stories were well and honestly reported. While my work spanned all aspects of the newspaper, my best work came from the News articles where I reported directly from the events and from the Features articles in which I spoke directly with people affecting change within the community.
