I am a Data Manager within the Higher Education sector. I am responsible for overseeing and driving the development and use of LD Training Services' Student Information System, ensuring the effective management of data including the collection, entry, integrity, consistency, quality and output of the data stored by the organisation. I work closely with all members of staff including senior managers and company directors. I also ensure robust data policies and develop and deliver training to staff where required. Alongside my role as a Data Manager, I continue to conduct End Point Assessments with Middlesex University as detailed below.Prior to this, I was an Independent End Point Assessor with Middlesex University where I was conducting End Point Assessments with Students undertaking the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) as well as assisting with the development of training materials.Following a successful career in MPS, in April 2022, I transferred into Hertfordshire Constabulary where I returned to front line policing along with becoming a tutor constable. Whilst here, I successfully completed my response driving course, drug wipe & FIT course, and Initial Contact Officer (sexual offences) course, along with continuing to re-certify my Taser qualification.Prior to this, from June 2014 until April 2022, I held the office of Constable with Metropolitan Police Service. My career in the MPS consisted of a range of roles including front line response where I carried Taser for a number of years, safer neighbourhoods, street duties instructor, foundation trainer for new recruits and training designer. Throughout my career I gained my Taser, L2 Public Order and Methods of Entry qualifications. During my time in the MPS I also assisted in the implementation of both Body Worn Video cameras and Tablet computers for officers in my area, both the IT side and ensuring all officers had the equipment required and knew how to use it.Prior to the start of my policing career, on completion of my BSc (Hons) Computing Science degree, I was in a learner focussed role helping students with their English, Maths and IT skills to students undertaking apprenticeships.
