Explored the combination of NASA environmental data with any publicly available economic data from August 2017 when Hurricane Harvey made landfall over Houston, Texas to explore primary causes of physical damage. Provided a hydrometeorological analysis using MEERA-2 data during Hurricane Harvey, and seeking correlation with post-disaster damage analytics and insurance claim statistics. By utilizing temporal meteorological data and economic analytics, implemented multiple regression models and summarized potential correlations between variables.

Worked with the Strategic Information Division specializing on counter-terrorism research in various countries. Developed economic assessments on public project feasibility within areas.

Worked with Dr. Francesca Filbey, M.D., Ph.D. on preprocessing tasks such as spatial and temporal filtering, motion correction, and normalization. Analyzed fMRI scans in ongoing cannabis study.

Conducted fMRI, EEG, and fNIRS studies. Studied neuro-imaging pertaining to children with auditory defects and analyzed brain activation associations due to specific repetition in syllables. Worked under the supervision of Dr. Julia Evan’s, M.D., Ph.D.
