I am the Duluth and northern MN representative for the American Heart Association, building relationships and inspiring passionate volunteerism and philanthropy in our community. I organize fundraising events like the Northland Go Red for Women and Northland Heart Walk. I also coordinate our Kids Heart Challenge program in area schools, work with volunteers and donors on our Circle of Red program, and help teach Hands Only CPR to area businesses! There are a lot of details to the work I do on any given day. Mostly I am an advocate for heart and brain health, helping to fund the fight against heart disease and stroke, and working relentlessly to help people in our communities live longer, healthier lives!

My primary focus in this temporary position at The Depot was on developing and implementing revenue generation strategies, in addition to working collaboratively to promote and support the various museums and performing arts organizations residing in the Historic Union Depot building. The final six months of my time at the Depot, I was named the Interim Museum Director, assisting in creating a new business model and management structure for the organization and preparing for the transition as they hired an Executive Director for the first time.
