I built my career with a foundation in marketing, public relations, and hospitality management. While I enjoyed what I did, my passion was always fueled by my volunteer work. Through a variety of non-profit organizations, I have spent decades building relationships and finding creative solutions to help make our community a better place. Today I work for the American Heart Association, merging my skills and talents with my passion for non-profit work. The AHA has always been a cause near and dear to me personally as I have lost several close family members to cardiovascular disease and heart attacks. The AHA’s mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. And while we are working hard every day to accomplish that, there is still so much left to do. Heart disease remains the #1 cause of death in the US, and until that changes we have work to do. And I am honored and excited to be a part of that team!
