Particular focus includes the legal industry and law firms - specifically the organization and process of building the next gen business development and marketing department to drive revenue and client engagement - in addition to the firm's sectors covering health care, real estate, private equity, and life sciences covering digital, operations, sales and marketing, and organizational strategy and transformations.

Lead the firm's revenue generation strategy through programs and initiatives focusing on developing new business opportunities and delivering services to clients through the lens of their industry and business covering the firm's primary services of transactions, litigation, regulatory, and IP. Patrick is a thought leader on distilling technical content into key messages creating dialogue and trust with clients. Responsibilities include the creation and management of the firm's client development programs covering client teams, pitching and proposals, and client interviews in addition to personally conducting business development coaching and strategy sessions for the firm's partners, offices, and practice groups. He has responsibility for the firm's sales team that are in market creating organic business opportunities for the firm along with the competitive intelligence team creating innovative products to identify immediate business and client development opportunities.

Created and managed the strategic business plan for the firm's Private Equity practice group (funds, family offices, HNW entities) resulting in new clients, improved brand, and movement up market, communications, thought leadership, collateral, case/mock studies, pursuit plans, events, competitive intelligence.

Patrick established the Corporate group - Private Equity, M&A, Finance - as ‘center of excellence’ implementing best practices covering operations, budgets, business plans, pitching, collateral, branding, events, and pricing.

The firm's first global proposal manager, Patrick created the Global Pitch Framework encompassing global best practices to RFPs and pitches, materials and training. As the primary proposal manager, Patrick understands how to position the firm's entire service offering to match capabilities with client needs. Additionally, he helped pilot the early foundations of pricing team as a member of two person pilot team that organized firm’s original pricing program including fee strategy, pricing modeling, and served as pricing thought leader often working directly with clients (and procurement) during pricing discussions.
