A co-founder and partner in a local coffee-roasting business that specializes in roasting high-quality coffee in small batches with an emphasis of finding the perfect roast for a given coffee. This involves experimenting with a variety of roasts & sampling until we are satisfied. Freshness is important to us so our coffee is “roast to order” so that we can deliver the freshest beans possible. Our success depends on equitable partnerships with our employees and the growers. We purchase Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance certified coffees and have direct trade contracts which the goal of finding great coffees and compensating the grower with a real living wage.
