Outside Space NYC is a small high-end residential landscape design firm in New York City. The company is design / build, with projects ranging in size, budgets, and complexity, working across penthouse rooftops to townhouse back yards. As designer and project manager main duties included:- Collaborated on design concepts & project graphics for client presentation- Generated estimates, contracts, change orders, billing and other documentationrelated to project accounting- Manage communication between all stakeholders to maintain project schedules,potential clients, and maintained existing client relations- Sourced and procured project materials to ensure timely delivery- Verify projects meet NYC building code and apply for permitting when necessary

Christensen Landscape Services is a large full service high end residential landscape firm working on the Connecticut shoreline. Design and build is the main expertise of the company, with projects ranging in size, budgets and complexity. My role as project manager consisted of overseeing all in-house design along with projects we would build for landscape architects. My main duties as project manager and an assistant designer include the following:- Served as main point of contact for clients, vendors, & sub-contractors- Organized and attended site meetings between architects, sub-contractors, clientsfor project review, planning, and discussion of any project matters- Developed proposals, contracts, change orders, billing and other documentationsuch as for zoning approvals to facilitate projects forward and accounted for- Sourced, procured, and oversaw labor crews installing project materials to ensurequality during construction- Documented project progress, discrepancies, damages, unexpected conflict toinform and maintain agreement amongst involved parties - Assist with in-house technical design development - Prepare project take off’s for projects for landscape architects on out of office projects
