Prioritized, directed and supervised over 275 Soldiers and Civilians in the daily execution of strategic interrogation operations, counterintelligence collection, document and media exploitation and intelligence production at the theater level detention facility in support of counterinsurgency operations in Afghanistan.

Provided leadership, training and supervision of the day to day operations of over 1,000 military, civilians and contractor personnel while managing an annual operating budget of over $145 million that supplied installation management and quality of life services to 142 US Army and DoD tenant organizations consisting of 48,000 personnel, 8,500 resident families and over 50,000 supported personnel from the surrounding communities.

Commander of the Army’s first interrogation battalion responsible for the direction and supervision of detainee screening, property exploitation and interrogation operations at the Theater Internment Facility to provide actionable intelligence to the warfighting commanders of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.
