I am President and CEO of Barr Engineering Co., an employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm. I work with the leaders of our four service area business units (assessment and remediation, engineering and design, environmental management, and water resources) and the rest of our management team to develop and implement our business strategies.I am a also a project Principal where I lead design and regulatory approval efforts for large projects at industrial facilities. During my more than thirty years at Barr, I have worked for clients in all of Barr’s major target industry sectors: mining, fuels and power, as well as for public entities.Specialties: Large multidisciplinary project management, environmental review processes, electric generating facility need demonstration processes, power plant site permitting, electric and gas transmission facility route permitting, renewable energy facility design and permitting (wind and biomass).
