Designed and developed various applications, components, reports and presentations for the many initiatives implemented and supported by the IT Application and Data Services Online Banking, Production Support groups, as well as the Enterprise Data Office.• Managed, as technical lead, an international team of 7 developers to implement Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) dashboards for various bank processes. Recognized by the Board of Directors of BB&T with a corporate promotion to Banking Officer.• Designed, architected, and co-wrote an application which gives near real time status of all back-end systems that are required by customer facing applications to increase user satisfaction. Application is still in use and is on screen at the Tactical Command Center of Truist.• Implemented new Online Account Opening application with integration of PEGA Web Services.• Introduced new concept of compartmentalizing external function integrations to team so that integration and presentation development can occur in parallel.• Designed and implemented various integration solutions to external systems such as single sign-on to Fidelity Credit Card Services, frictionless integration between Online Banking and both Customer Self Service and Online Account Opening applications, as well as various TIBCO and PEGA Web Services.

I designed and developed Dancik’s next generation Web based Java applications platform which would interact with Dancik’s legacy ERP solutions as well as two specific web-based applications.• Made key strategic technology decisions and quickly architected a Tapestry/Spring application platform in order to fulfill an aggressive development schedule to produce a functioning demo of a browser-based Java order entry application. New team surpassed management expectations and was rewarded.• Trained and mentored a team of RPG programmers with limited Java and team development experience to effectively develop Java applications. Introduced and encouraged such concepts as shared code repositories using Subversion, reusable components, object oriented programming, multi-tiered architecture, design patterns, peer code reviews, and Java best practices.
