Experienced data scientist and software engineer. Currently, I am a Team Lead in the healthcare industry supporting several big data pipelines. I have significant experience in cloud technologies, distributed computing, and architecting software systems on premise, in the cloud, and the transition between the two. I have experience working with various different teams toward a common goal for end users - whether they are internal or external.For the past several years, my focus has been designing distributed, efficiency-crucial data engineering and modeling pipelines in the realm of large-scale healthcare cost & quality data. I'm constantly mixing my love for machine learning, big data engineering, and automation to create thoughtless processes at corporate scale. My passion is R&D-ing new tech, and then implementing it in an entrepreneurial capacity and seeing how it scales.My concentrations are Machine Learning and Cloud Systems. I have an intimate background with data science, engineering, and continual education - pursuing specializations post graduate. If I am not working or on the mats, I am on the water, in the woods, up the mountains, or somewhere in between!
