I’m an analytics innovator and entrepreneur who is passionate about data and digging in to do the hard stuff. My journey has been about discovery and hard work. When there is a problem, you don’t throw your hands up and quit. You look for new ways to solve problems so you don’t end up in the same place. You try some stuff, maybe even tinker a bit, but then find a new and better way through. For me personally, this was starting a new venture in soybean farming to pay my way through college. Later in life, it was working with my kids to rebuild vintage cars to instill some pride by getting their hands dirty. Professionally, this translates into discovering new ways for our customers to be successful with their data so they can improve their top and bottom lines. This means we often have to throw out the old ways of doing things and think about things in a new way. In 2003, I bootstrapped a Multi-touch Attribution firm, today known as DataSong helping some of the industries biggest brands like William Sonoma, Nordstrom and Neimen Marcus to optimize millions of dollars in marketing spend. Guiding its growth for over a decade, I orchestrated a merger into MarketShare (now Neustar).In 2018, I started Liftlab. The industry has changed. The signals we used for MTA have changed. This means we have to do things in a different way and that is what we’ve done. We're designing a new approach for performance marketers' spending decisions so they forecast revenue for peak efficiency, growth and profitability.
