Supported the City of Atlanta through the joint venture program for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport's $6 Billion capital plan for the airport's infrastructure. Worked under PEs/PMs/DMs to review electrical system design for aviation construction projects. During the summer, I focused primarily on the planning, design, and construction phases:- Discussed the art of driving a project to success by managing the scope of work, project schedule, and project budget. - Learned the detailed thinking necessary to stay proactive as a project manager to minimize risk.- Discussed the proper use of contingencies/allowances & how to pivot in the situation that the project encounters schedule/budget-threatening obstacles- Participated in field walks to conceptualize the logical process of constructing a building & better understand the connection between design work and contractor executionDuring my experience, I had the opportunity to mentor for the City of Atlanta's Summer Youth Employment Program providing career and professional advice to high school students / rising college freshman. By providing them with insight of college, these students asked questions to plan for the future. Also, I helped establish their networking skills by assisting six students create LinkedIn profiles.

Through the Georgia Tech Office of Minority Educational Development (OMED), minority students learn to navigate the rigor of Georgia Tech resulting in improved performance and retention rates. By providing comprehensive support to over 85 incoming first-year students in a 6-week summer residential academic program:- Served as a residential assistant, building a supportive living and learning environment for students- Managed 4-hours a week of office hours offering personalized academic and social guidance- Conducted 1-on-1 advising session focusing on academic, professional, and cultural development

Worked with the order-to-cash workstream of a manufacturer and supplier of building materials, guiding this large company from their legacy system into SAP S/4HANA by identifying their pain points and using the basis of organizational change management to find viable solutions. Through the transformation process, our team discovered use cases customized for implementation and discussed the integration of 3rd party systems.

Worked with the Client Innovation Services Team within the Atlanta Innovation Hub, discovering new use cases for emerging technologies for companies across multiple industries. Through my research, I laid out a transformation plan to innovate the transportation system of a multi-modal transit service. Also, I provided insight on the innovative future of Atlanta by focusing on universities in the Atlanta area that focus on technology advancement for a worldwide sports apparel and footwear company.
